A letter to Sir J- c- Baroret, a member of the Honourable House of Commons. - Wherein particular notice is taken of the report, which was made, ex parte, in the 13th of March 1709-10, by a committee of the then House of Commons, touching the then state and management of the affairs of the Company of the Mine-Adventurers of England. Containing likewife a clear and irrefragable vincidation of Sir Hamphrey Mackworth, the then deputy-governor of the said company, from the many false, secandalous, and invidious calummies, with which he has been since undeservedly reproach'd to the manisest prejudice of his reputation and interest, merely upon the credit of those mis-representations, which were too implicitely repeated, in the said report, from a petition presented to the then House of Commons, and referr'd to the said committee, touching the affairs of that company, during the absence of the said Sir Humphery Mackworth.
